“Building Athletes. Building Legacy. 20 Years of Liberty.”
In 2006, Liberty Cheer All-Stars began as nothing more than a dream and a deep love for cheerleading. At the time, our kids were just babies, and life was full of those sweet, chaotic days of raising young families. But even in the middle of that season of life, cheer was in our blood. Carrie and Lyndsey had both grown up cheering in Midlothian schools, we had coached teams in town—including our own niece’s squad—and Ashley had always been there making sure the business side ran smoothly.
One day, we looked at each other and thought: why not us? Why not take this passion for cheer, this love for kids, and our roots in Midlothian, and create something that could truly last?
We weren’t just starting a business. We were building a home for athletes—a place where cheerleading could be taught the right way. A place where faith and family mattered. A place where kids could grow up with discipline, strength, and confidence, but also with encouragement, love, and care.
And so, Liberty Cheer All-Stars was born.
Midlothian Is Home
From the very beginning, Liberty was deeply tied to Midlothian. This is where we grew up. Our grandparents lived here. Our parents lived here. Our cousins lived here. It’s always been home.
Our family has been invested in this community for generations—even before Liberty Cheer. Many Midlothian families still remember Scotty Brown’s BBQ, the restaurant owned by our grandfather and parents, where they proudly served this town back when it was still small. Just as they poured into the community by feeding its people, we wanted to give back to Midlothian in our own way—through cheerleading.
That commitment hasn’t changed in 20 years. Midlothian isn’t just where our gym is located. It’s who we are.
Built on Standards and Heart
From the start, we’ve held ourselves to the highest standards. Our coaching is consistent and professional. Our choreography, music, and training are always top-notch. We are strict about who coaches your children and intentional about every correction, every class, every eight-count.
But it’s more than just rules and structure—it’s about protecting our athletes and helping them succeed. We believe in teaching the right way, building skills step by step, and never cutting corners. If you’ve ever watched a Liberty routine, you’ve seen the result: sharp, clean, and full of confidence.
Growing With Our Families
What started as one gym has now become a program that truly has something for everyone. Today, Liberty offers:
• All-Star Cheer – Elite, Prep, Novice and Exhibition teams.
• CheerAbilities – our special needs team that inspires us all
• Team Gymnastics – competitive team program for gymnasts
• In-House Gymnastics – recreational gymnastics for all ages and abilities
• Tumbling Classes – skill-based classes for every level
• Acro & Tumbling – for athletes looking to build advanced acrobatic & tumble skills
• Recreational Cheer – non-competitive cheer training in a fun, team environment
• In-House Cheer – developmental cheer for athletes who want to learn without the pressure of competition
and much more!
No matter what path a child takes, Liberty has a place for them.
Success That Lasts
Over the years, Liberty has been blessed with countless wins:
🏆 Multiple NCA National Championships
🏆 Countless regional and national titles
🏆 And in 2024, one of our proudest moments—All-Star Worlds Champions
But for us, success has always been about more than trophies. It’s about the process. Every season, our teams start with monthly camps so athletes are prepared from the beginning. Several of our coaches are judge-certified and stay up-to-date in the industry. Chloe Smith is in charge of training our coaches on BOTH Cheer Scoresheets. We even bring in Navarro College cheerleaders and other experts to train and inspire our kids as well. All of our coaches are highly trained with multiple certifications to better our athletes. Knowledge is power!
Every conditioning circuit, every drill, every correction—it all has a purpose. That’s why Liberty athletes aren’t just good for a season. They’re consistently strong, confident, and ready year after year.
20 Years Strong
As we celebrate our 20th season, we can’t help but look back with gratitude. What started as three women with a dream has grown into a program that has touched hundreds of families. We’ve watched babies grow into athletes, athletes grow into leaders, and leaders grow into coaches who now pour back into the next generation at Liberty. We have alumni athletes who brought their children to grow up in our gym.
Midlothian will always be our home, and its people will always be our heart. We’re proud of what we’ve built here, but we’re even more excited for what’s ahead.
To every family who has trusted us these past 20 years: thank you. To every athlete who has worn Liberty blue: you are our legacy. And to every child who dreams of cheering, tumbling, or just being part of something bigger—our doors are open, and this is your home too.
Here’s to the next 20 years of Liberty Cheer All-Stars.
